Simon Massie-Taylor, Chief Commercial Officer

Simon Massie-Taylor, the RFU’s Chief Commercial Officer is a member of their senior leadership team and the RFU Board, reporting to the RFU’s CEO Ian Ritchie

Responsible for all of the RFU’s commercial operations and revenue-generating activities, his remit includes: sponsorship, commercial partnerships, broadcast agreements, ticketing, stadium debenture sales and boxes, hospitality, licensing and retail operations.

Massie-Taylor joined the RFU in September 2016 from the British Olympic Association (BOA) where he was Commercial Director. 

Before joining the BOA in 2014, Massie-Taylor was Senior Vice President, Commercial, for Tough Mudder in New York, and previously part of the award-winning commercial team for LOCOG, organisers of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

His previous roles include an associate position at the investment bank Rothschild and Sons and accountancy at KPMG in London.
