If you are a club running a mixed ability team, an individual leading a project that through rugby brings communities together, or charity that uses rugby values to help develop disadvantaged young people - then we want to hear from you.
England Rugby and Sport Relief will together provide grants to charitable projects and programmes that use rugby or the rugby community to deliver social change. The Try for Change Fund will also encourage charities, clubs, and community groups from the grassroots in England to projects overseas to take up rugby for social good and widen the impact of our sport, and its values, to help improve the lives of people who need it most.
- The grant making will focus on projects that achieve social impact in:
- increasing community cohesion
- improving education attainment
- increasing employability
- reducing involvement in gangs and risk of offending
- improving mental health
- increasing social integration
Further detail on the England Rugby & Sport Relief Try for Change Fund will be released early next year. To keep up to date please complete an expression of interest below.
