Bristol-born Chantelle followed in the footsteps of her rugby family when she spent two years before joining the England Women Sevens programme. With her Grandad also playing for Bristol and her brother Mitchell involved in the academy it seemed set up for her to represent her hometown club after she started playing aged seven at Winscombe RFC.
Before playing top two seasons of top flight rugby with Bristol she also had stints at Yatton, Melksham and Cleve. A winger in 15s, her talent for sevens was spotted early where she won the European Championship with the Under 18 side in 2015. Chantelle, who describes herself as ‘fun, friendly and hungry’ is part of the sevens squad for the 2017/18 season after helping England qualify for the Sevens World Cup in 2017.
