Caity Mattinson’s twin sister Hannah is a graduate of the London Contemporary Dance School but the England international makes the best of her own twinkle toes on the rugby pitch.
The scrum-half made her Red Roses debut in England's 3-0 whitewash of Canada in the Old Mutual Wealth Series in November 2017.
That year had a highly Canadian flavour, with Caity having also won a provincial championship with Leprechaun Tigers during a stint playing in the world’s second-largest country.
Since starting playing rugby at the age of 10 at Tynedale RFC, where both her father and uncle played, Caity spent three years playing for Darlington Mowden Park before moving to Bristol Ladies for the start of the Tyrrells Premier 15s season.
Caity captained the England U20s on her debut against the Army in 2016 and was also part of the Red Roses’ squad for the 2018 Women’s Six Nations.
