Rochelle, better known to her teammates as ‘Rocky’, had the distinction of becoming England’s most capped rugby player in November 2016.

She reached the milestone by overtaking Jason Leonard’s 114-cap total in the 12-10 win over Ireland at University College, Dublin. 

And in the next match against New Zealand she became the world’s most capped woman, having overtaken the career total of her director of rugby at Worcester Valkyries Donna Kennedy.

Kennedy had made 115 appearances for Scotland.

By the end of the 2018 Women’s Six Nations, Rocky had moved onto 137 caps, having played at the top of the game since 2003.

She was awarded an MBE for Services to Rugby in the 2015 New Year’s Honours List. having played in four Rugby World Cups, winning the tournament in 2014.

The loose-head prop is from High Wycombe, has a BA (Hons) in Sports Science & Coaching to her name and is a Level 3 Coach to boot.

She mixes her rugby playing with her role as head coach of Chesham Stags and Bucks University and is also a personal trainer.

Rochelle first played when aged 15 with Beaconsfield, at Henley RFC alongside England teammate Tamara Taylor.
