Rochelle, better known to her teammates as ‘Rocky’, achieved the distinction of being England’s most capped rugby player when overtaking Jason Leonard’s 114-cap total in the 12-10 win over Ireland at University College, Dublin in November 2016. In the next match against New Zealand she became the world’s most capped woman, having overtaken the career aggregate of her director of rugby at Worcester Valkyries Donna Kennedy, who made 115 appearances for Scotland before retiring from the game.

Rocky, who is in her 16th consecutive calendar year at international level, was appointed MBE for Services to Rugby in the 2015 New Year’s Honours List. A true icon for her sport, Rocky has played in all of the past 18 Six Nations matches and started 17 of them as well as the last four Women’s Rugby World Cups.

A 2014 World Cup winner, the loosehead prop is from High Wycombe, has a BA (Hons) in Sports Science & Coaching to her name and is a Level 3 Coach to boot.  She mixes her rugby playing with her role as head coach of Chesham Stags and Bucks University and is also a personal trainer.

She first played when 15 with Beaconsfield, at Henley RFC alongside England teammate Tamara Taylor.
