Support & Training

A collection of helpful user guides and support materials can be found below on some of the key tasks you can undertake in GMS:

New Functionality: Team Management Module

The new Team Management module in GMS will provide all clubs with a ‘one-stop shop’ to view and manage fixtures for all teams within their club. We encourage you to use this new function to record all non-league matches and fixtures for all teams below first team level.

The module is available to all Clubs and will initially provide the following features:

  • View Fixtures and Results for all Teams within your Club.
  • Create or Upload manually entered Fixtures.
  • Accept or Reject Fixture requests from opposing teams.
  • Enter Results and Match Card information for manually created Fixtures.
  • Update the Match time for fixtures entered via the RFU Competition System.

Using the Team Management Tile

There are now two ways to add fixtures in to GMS - by bulk upload or by adding a single fixture. This will be helpful when your club plays a non-league game or for entering all games below first team level. Here's how to add a single fixture:

You can bulk upload fixtures. This will be useful when uploading non-league game fixtures and all fixtures for teams below first team level. Take a read of the guide on the below link and watch the video.

Once you have either added a single fixture or bulk uploaded fixtures, you will need to send a request for the fixtures to be accepted by the opposition's fixture secretary. Here's a guide and video on how to request a fixture:

Once a club has requested a fixture against your club, you can either accept or decline it. You will be notified by email of a requested fixture. Here's a guide to how it works:
