What is the Old Mutual Wealth Kids First champions programme?
The champions programme helps us identify those clubs, schools and individuals where the quality of Old Mutual Wealth Kids First delivery is exceptional. We want to reward them and highlight their successes, celebrating their effort and expertise as best practice in providing an experience and environment that encapsulates the Old Mutual Wealth Kids First approach to rugby at U7 to U13. The club or school must be signed up to Old Mutual Wealth Kids First to be eligible for the champions programme. More details below.
What's in it for those selected?
As well as having their efforts publically recognised, there are a number of amazing rewards on offer to selected clubs, schools or game changing individuals. Prizes include ‘money can’t buy’ experiences at Twickenham Stadium, the home of England Rugby.
This is a great opportunity to help recognise and reward the efforts of those involved in Old Mutual Wealth Kids First who are creating an environment that helps children have fun, learn and build their confidence while playing rugby union. Recent winners have received the option to present man of the match, match tickets to England internationals or the chance for some of their players to form the guard of honour for the England players at Twickenham stadium. Read more about the recent winners.
Nominations are made through the RFU’s Regional Development Officers and Constituent Bodies of each area before the final winners are selected by a national panel.
