O2 launches Red Roses campaign

O2, proud partner of England Rugby, has announced a new campaign in support of the Red Roses as they look to defend their world title.

The campaign leads with a film showcasing the finest moments of the Red Roses to demonstrate the power, passion and commitment that goes into the women’s game. The film will be available on O2 Sports’ social channels and across both broadcast and video-on-demand services including Sky, ITV and All 4. 

Throughout the tournament, O2 will be encouraging fans to pledge their support to England Rugby using #WearTheRose across print and social channels to spur the team onto victory.

"Wear the Rose is about galvanising support, getting behind the team every step of the way. We know that O2 customers and fans love rugby – the women’s game is fast, powerful and full of skill, so we’ve made sure this comes through at every stage of this new campaign.”

Elsewhere on social, O2 will be activating influencers, ex-players and its fan network to share exclusive content and money can’t buy prizes to inspire even more fans to get behind the team. O2 customers will be able to access rugby themed rewards via O2’s Priority app.  

O2 and England Rugby’s behind the scenes series, O2 Inside Line, will run throughout the tournament, giving fans exclusive access to the camp alongside profile features on the players.
