Wasps' Eastmond to appear before disciplinary panel

Kyle Eastmond of Wasps is due to appear before an independent disciplinary panel after he was sent off against Harlequins.

He was shown a red card by referee Wayne Barnes for a dangerous tackle on Harlequin’s  Marcus Smith contrary to law 9.13 in the 17th minute of the match Harlequins v Wasps on Sunday 11 February 2018.

Independent citing commissioner Paul Burke has also cited Eastmond for a separate dangerous tackle on Harlequin’s Ross Chisholm contrary to law 9.13 in the 15th minute of the same match.

Eastmond’s hearing for both charges will take place in Coventry on Tuesday 13 February at 18.30. The panel will be chaired by Sean Enright with Leon Lloyd and one other member to be confirmed.
