Harlequins Ladies have announced that Red Roses lock Abbie Scott will join their roster ahead of the inaugural Tyrrells Premier 15s season.
The 27-year-old, who boasts 21 Test match caps, links up with Quins from Darlington Mowden Park.
“I am delighted to be joining Harlequins this season,” said Scott.
“Both the men and women’s sides play an expansive and exciting style of rugby, which I love to play.
“To be presented the opportunity to play in the iconic quartered shirt in the new league format was one I couldn’t turn down. I can’t wait to get started.”
Scott was part of England’s southern hemisphere whitewash in the summer, as the Red Roses became the number one team in the world after registering wins over Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
The History and Politics graduate was also a member of England's Women's Rugby World Cup squad in August, featuring in four matches - including the final.
