October Touchline sees the RFU laying out its intent for the women’s game and launching a unique identity for England Women – the Red Roses.

England Rugby announces a charity partnership with Sport Relief to raise £4 million over four years to support projects and programmes using rugby to help change people’s lives and as a tool for social good.

Four London boroughs take part in the first ever Somali Sevens festival, with plans now for a showcase Mo Farrah Friendship Trophy.

At Thatcham RFC they have gone from a few youngsters playing mini rugby 35 years ago to teams at every level, and a newly-opened modern clubhouse which is a real community hub.
