After being born in Oxford, Olivia joined her local club Oxford RFC at the age of five and also featured for Grove RFC and Wallingford RFC during her junior career before representing Cardiff Metropolitan University, where she captained the side during her studies there and helped them be crowned BUCS champions in 2016.
After a stint at Bristol Ladies, Olivia moved to Loughborough Lightning where she is also studying at Loughborough University for a Masters in Sport Management. The back row forward played for the Under 20s side in 2015 and also had a call up to the squad for the Women’s Sevens Series two years later.
Jones says the toughest part of her career so far was the six months she spent injured when she ruptured the ligaments in her ankle and her rugby idol is Charlie Sharples.
