How will the 425 clubs be selected to receive a £500 grant and the 6 clubs to receive a £3000 grant?
The 425 Participating Clubs will be selected by Constituent Body area judging panels and in the case of the £3000 grant packages by a national judging panel consisting of representatives from NatWest and the Rugby Football Union (RFU). The Participating clubs will be those clubs who, in the opinion of the judges, have the most suitable applications.
If my club has received NatWest RugbyForce grants in previous years, does that mean we are unlikely to receive a grant again this year?
All member clubs of the RFU (and/or Constituent Body) are eligible for the NatWest RugbyForce grants whether or not they have received grant awards in previous years.
Are there any workshops this year?
There are no workshops this year. Support & guidance will be provided via short animated videos and the toolkit.
When will clubs find out if they have been successful in securing a grant award?
Decisions regarding clubs invited to receive the grant of £500 will be made by 19 April 2019 and clubs will be notified by email by 26 April 2019.
NatWest RugbyForce provides an opportunity to welcome club members, volunteers and local businesses from the community for a weekend of DIY but this is not the only advantage of taking part in NatWest RugbyForce 2019.
Clubs that register by 17th March 2019 and answer the required questions will have the chance to be considered as one of the 425 clubs selected by our judging panels to receive a £500 grant award or one of the 6 clubs selected to receive a £3000 grant and support package. Please see FAQs for more information and Terms & Conditions.
