Mitsubishi Motors has launched the new Kit 4 Clubs scheme, an initiative which will allow rugby clubs across England to earn new playing kit and training equipment.
Produced by England Rugby partners Canterbury and Gilbert, the kit available for clubs includes playing jerseys, training tops, rain jackets, practice bibs, balls, contact wedges and more.
Clubs are eligible for the offer if a club member takes their old vehicle in for an appraisal at their local Mitsubishi Motors dealership and takes any new Mitsubishi for a test drive.
Each time a club member visits their assigned dealership and has their vehicle valued plus takes a test drive in a new or used Mitsubishi, their club fund will be credited with £30. When the club's fund reaches an initial target of £300 they can begin to order branded items.
“This country has fantastic clubs from the grassroots through to the very elite and having access to quality kit and equipment is an important element in the growth and development of the game," said England head coach Mitsubishi brand ambassador Eddie Jones.
"The new Mitsubishi Motors Kit 4 Clubs offering will support clubs with their goal of driving performance and improving the game in the community.”
The scheme is part of Mitsubishi Motors' commitment to England Rugby from the elite end to the grassroots game.
“We are incredibly proud of our commitment to supporting grassroots rugby across England," said Lance Bradley, managing director of Mitsubishi Motors.
"By providing clubs around the country with much needed playing kit and equipment we believe we can continue to support the growth of England Rugby”.
