Red Roses trio Sarah Bern, Katy Daley-Mclean and Sarah McKenna have been shortlisted by their team mates for the player of the year award.
The O2 England Women’s player of the year award is presented to the outstanding player from the 2018-19 season, as voted by the England women’s elite playing squad.
The trio helped the Red Roses to a Grand Slam in the Six Nations earlier this year.
The winner will be announced at the 2019 RPA awards on 8 May.
As one of the most eagerly-anticipated events in the rugby calendar, the RPA Awards recognise and celebrate the very best of the best in rugby.
Taking place at Twickenham Stadium, the event will see a host of awards announced, including the coveted Players' Player and Young Player of the Year, as voted for by the players.
Bern said she was“overwhelmed” to be nominated for the award, adding, “I have always felt the most important recognition you can ever have is from your teammates and to have them support me in this way is both incredible and unbelievable.”
Fly half Daley-Mclean said: "To be nominated by your peers in any sport is special, but for me personally to be recognised by my England teammates means so much more. I feel exceptionally proud to wear the red rose and my teammates are the people I respect the most, therefore I must thank them for their amazing support.”
And McKenna added that to be recognised by her team mates was the “ultimate compliment", saying: “I was delighted when I received the news, I didn’t expect the recognition and I am proud and humbled by the support from my team.”
