Saracens scrum half Asa Stewart-Harris came through the club’s academy and has represented England at U17, U18 and U19 level. In May he started for Ampthill in the Championship and later played for England U20 against Georgia. He was recently selected in Mark Mapletoft’s squad for the 2025 World Rugby U20 Championship.

What is a Scrum Half?
The scrum half, or number 9, links forwards and backs, taking the ball from the scrum or lineout, and putting pressure on the opposition nine. With a kicking armoury, man management and decision skills, the nine knows when to make breaks or to pass.
