Register to play rugby

From the 2024/25 season, all players in all formats of the game (including non-contact from April 2025), will be required to register themselves annually to play rugby for RFU member clubs. In previous seasons, player registration has been done by clubs on behalf of their players. 
 
Players will register using their Game Management System (GMS) account and clubs will review and approve their registrations. This is in accordance with RFU Regulation 13 & 14. 

If you have never been registered with a club in England, you will need to create a GMS account and register to play.

If you have been registered to play in the past, you will already have an existing GMS account. You will need to log into your account and follow the steps.
