After being released by Saracens at 16-years-old, Jonny Weimann joined Saints’ Academy set-up and signed his first professional contract with the club ahead of the 2024/25 season. He represented England at the U18s Six Nations festival in 2024, and was recently named in Mark Mapletoft's squad for the 2025 U20 Six Nations.

What is a Scrum Half?
The scrum half, or number 9, links forwards and backs, taking the ball from the scrum or lineout, and putting pressure on the opposition nine. With a kicking armoury, man management and decision skills, the nine knows when to make breaks or to pass.
