Nic Allison
Born in Cape Town, Nic Allison plays his rugby in the centre and arrived at Sandy Park ahead of the 2023/24 season. He played for England U19 against France and Italy in 2024, before starting both games for England U20 against Cambridge and Bath United. He was recently named in Mark Mapletoft's squad for the 2025 U20 Six Nations.

The inside centre, who wears 12, and outside centre, wearing 13, have similar roles but often specialise. The 12 becomes first receiver if the fly half is unavailable and is generally larger, able to tackle big opponents, take the lead and distribute the ball for tactical advantage. The outside centre is robust and able to step around defenders at pace, adaptable and with the speed of a wing.
