Seb Kelly
Sale Sharks back row Seb Kelly started playing rugby at Rochdale RFC before joining the Sale academy. His brother Dan also came through the academy and won the Gallagher Premiership with Leicester Tigers in 2022. Seb made his England U18 debut last year and has played at National 2, National 1 & Championship level this season. Additionally, he has played for Sale twice in the Premiership Rugby Cup and played England U20’s game against Georgia. He was recently selected in Mark Mapletoft’s squad for the 2025 World Rugby U20 Championship.

The back row consists of two flankers and the No 8. The blind-side flanker wears six and the open-side flanker seven, both specialising in big tackles and winning possession through turnovers. They are fearless, strong and fast to the breakdown. The No 8 secures the ball at the base of the scrum, is an attacking link between forwards and backs and a real force when defending.
