Fraser Dingwall
Fraser Dingwall first started playing rugby at Cambridge RUFC and linked up with Northampton Saints at 14 years old, going on to sign with the Senior Academy in 2017. He made his professional debut in a Premiership game against Leicester Tigers in 2018. He started his international career with Scotland at U18 level before switching to England U20s in 2018 and was chosen to captain England at the 2019 World Rugby U20 Championship. Dingwall first received a call up to the senior England squad in January 2020, and was recalled by head coach Steve Borthwick ahead of the Guinness Men’s Six Nations 2024. He didn't have to wait long to make his senior international debut, starting at inside centre in the opening round win over Italy. Dingwall was recently named in Steve Borthwick's squad for the 2025 Six Nations.

The inside centre, who wears 12, and outside centre, wearing 13, have similar roles but often specialise. The 12 becomes first receiver if the fly half is unavailable and is generally larger, able to tackle big opponents, take the lead and distribute the ball for tactical advantage. The outside centre is robust and able to step around defenders at pace, adaptable and with the speed of a wing.
