England Rugby’s games against France XV & USA to be broadcast by RugbyPass TV
England Rugby and World Rugby have announced RugbyPass TV as the exclusive broadcast destination for UK supporters to watch live coverage of England XV vs France XV at Allianz Stadium next Saturday, as well as the England senior men’s Test match against the USA in Washington DC this July.
Building on the audience success of England’s international against Japan last year, which attracted 500,000+ unique fan views, the matches will be free to view on the RugbyPass TV website and RugbyPass app.
The matches will also be available to supporters around the world with the exception of France for England XV v France XV fixture, and the USA for USA v England, as the big match in Washington DC is being broadcast domestically by CBS Sports.
The deal reflects World Rugby’s wider ambition to grow audience share in the USA on the road to historic men’s and women’s Rugby World Cup hosting in 2031 and 2033 respectively, with World Rugby collaborating with national unions to facilitate fixtures, create content, build stars and convert fandom.
“It’s great to extend our established partnership with World Rugby to offer all supporters in the UK and Ireland more free-to-air coverage via RugbyPass TV,” said England Rugby Marketing Director Ewan Turney. “We know that younger audiences are gravitating towards streaming platforms, with fans watching matches across a variety of devices.
“These two matches are not only a key part of our summer series, but also play an important role in the team’s development cycle as we build towards the next Rugby World Cup.”
