England U20 squad to face Australia in 2025 World Rugby U20 Championship
England U20 Men’s head coach Mark Mapletoft and assistant coach Andy Titterrell have named their squad to face Australia in the 2025 World Rugby U20 Championship.
The final pool stage fixture takes place at the Payanini Centre, Verona on Wednesday 9 July (17:00 BST kick-off) following a 32-22 loss to South Africa. The match will be streamed live and for free on RugbyPass TV in the UK and Ireland.
Hooker Kepu Tuipulotu will captain the side for the first time having featured in all five 2025 U20 Six Nations outings, as well as against South Africa and Scotland.
Wing Noah Caluori earns his first start at U20 level after making his debut against the junior Springboks, while versatile forward Aiden Ainsworth-Cave is awarded his first start, coming in at blindside flanker.
There are also potential U20 debuts for Seb Kelly and Ollie Streeter after they were named as replacements.

“We were disappointed in how the last game transpired against South Africa, as we left many opportunities out there,” backs and skills coach Will Parkin said.
“With that said, our leadership group have rallied to refocus our players’ efforts over the last three days. The squad’s ownership to recognise there are big improvements to be made has been vital, as well as impressive.
“The squad have raised our performance levels in training and put an emphasis on refining our efficiency in the opposing 22 against what will be another strong challenge in Australia.”
