England U20 squad to play Australia in World Rugby U20 Championship play-off
England U20 Men’s head coach Mark Mapletoft and assistant coach Andy Titterrell have named their squad to face Australia in the 2025 World Rugby U20 Championship fifth-place play-off.
The encounter sees the two teams meet this Saturday at the Stadio Mario Battaglini, Rovigo, having already played out a thrilling pool stage game. The match will be streamed live and for free on RugbyPass TV in the UK and Ireland, kicking-off at 17:00 BST.
Tom Burrow captains the side on his final outing for the England U20 Men, with Vilikesa Sela and Kane James returning to the starting pack.
Nic Allison rejoins Nick Lilley in the midfield pairing in the only alteration to the backline involved in a 51-13 victory over Wales on Monday, while back row Reggie Hammick is poised for his U20 debut should he come off the bench.

Mark Mapletoft said: “Having faced Australia recently in the pool stages, we’re eagerly anticipating another exciting contest to conclude our campaign in Italy.
“Despite not progressing to the top four, the effort from our squad and staff group in the latter stages of the tournament has been relentless and inspiring. We still have an impression to make on Saturday with this special group.
“Some players will be achieving their first and last caps for the U20s this weekend, but we are all motivated to create lifelong memories together as a brotherhood.”
